Job Title: Dispatch & Receiving Clerk

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an accurate inventory of both stock items and transactions.
  • Keeping the storeroom clean and organised.
  • Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock (monthly stock take)
  • Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed.
  • Track shipments and address any delays.
  • Oversee storage of products.
  • Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams.
  • Inspecting deliveries to ensure they match order and invoice criteria.
  • Receiving and signing for deliveries.
  • Processing returns for incorrect or unsatisfactory items.
  • Organising and storing received items in appropriate areas.
  • Updating inventory with received items.
  • Book out orders ready for collection. (Assist clients, ensure delivery notes are signed etc.)
  • Maintaining records of orders, delivery details, etc.
  • Booking in/out of all storeroom equipment (tools, generators, toolboxes etc.)
  • Ensure all tools and equipment booked out/in are in working condition.
  • Booking out PPE and consumables to staff during the day.
  • Arranging services and maintenance for generators, and other equipment as needed.


  • Minimum 3-5 years of practical experience in a similar role.
  • Manufacturing industry experience beneficial
  • National Senior Certificate.
  • Post-secondary education in relevant field
  • Driver’s licence.
  • Competent in Microsoft applications.
  • Fully bilingual-English and Afrikaans
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
